Welome to the YMCA of Oakville's website for MIST - the YMCA of Oakville's Mayor's Invitational Softball Tournament.

Success in 2007!

Our 2007 tournament was an outstanding success, with over 450 players on 32 teams participating together to support the YMCA of Oakville.
 
The tally is in, and we are thrilled to announce total dollars raised at the 2006 MIST tournament of $531,4889!!!
 
Thanks go to our host, Mattamy Homes, and to our generous sponsors, players, volunteers, and caterers.

MIST teams include home builders, members of the building trades from across southwestern Ontario, plus representatives from the Region of Halton and the Town of Oakville.  The teams will play at four Oakville parks, and then head to Trafalgar Park for a spectacular series of semi-finals and the Championship game.  Players will then be treated to outstanding entertainment and a delicious Awards Dinner, sponsored by leading restaurants and caterers from the Toronto area.

The YMCA of Oakville is a charity that offers fee subsidies to those in need, ensuring that our programs and services are open to all.  Funds raised from this year’s MIST tournament will help support the YMCA of Oakville’s YMCA Strong Kids Annual Giving Campaign as well as contribute significantly to Phase II of our Capital Expansion Project.  For more information on YMCA Strong Kids, go to Donate Now.
